POWER OF ATTORNEY REPRESENTATION
Are you looking for power of attorney services?
A power of attorney is an important document to consider, in that it will allow a representative of your choosing (called your “attorney”) to attend to making financial decisions on your behalf when you may not be in a position to do so yourself. This document will allow your attorney to deal with such matters as real estate transactions, bank account matters, income tax and/or pension issues.
Your attorney may be called upon to act on your behalf in the event you suffer an illness or injury, making you incapable of dealing with your own financial matters. If you do not appoint an attorney, and suffer an injury or illness, causing a mental incapacity, it may lead to a representative being appointed to act on your behalf by the office of the Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia. This appointment is an expensive and time-consuming process, and can easily be avoided by the execution of a power of attorney
